Many of us are aware of the science and models that are currently driving the teaching of reading and language comprehension across the country. We are now at the stage of beginning to implement these ideas into our classrooms. This session will spend the day discussing the elements of a reading block with plenty of practical examples and ideas to take back to your classroom and implement right away. Some topics covered will be differentiation, grouping students, and what to do at the “table, as well as whole class.
