At MVESC, we are always searching for innovative ways to provide educational opportunities. We are in a unique position to create partnerships that help us offer programs that address the needs and education of the whole child. As an MVESC member, you’ll have access to valuable advocacy, visibility, representation, networking and learning opportunities.
We hold our staff to a higher standard.
All MVESC employees hold education degrees, licenses and certifications needed to function in each specialty area we provide. We require ongoing professional development for all MVESC staff, ensuring the center operations are current and best practice. Our leadership is highly involved with the professional and community organizations that support education in southeast Ohio at the local, state and national levels. Most importantly, each MVESC staff member has a passion for the well-being of children and for the advancement of best practices on individual, educational, community and systemic levels.
We have a history of transformative support.
Since 1914, we’ve been serving the educational staff, district administrators and service organizations who support the students and families within our region. We serve about 1,300 teachers and more than 11,300 students in 14 school districts. Within and beyond our seven counties, we have partnered with more than 105 educational service providers in 62 Ohio counties, 39 states and Canada.
