We’re Your Partner in Educational Excellence.
At Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC), we understand the challenges you face in supporting students, educational staff and service administrators. We support you in your endeavors to help your students and staff succeed.
We connect you with the resources to empower positive change.
At MVESC, we are always searching for innovative ways to provide educational opportunities. We are in a unique position to create partnerships that help us offer programs that address the needs and education of the whole child. As an MVESC member, you’ll have access to valuable advocacy, visibility, representation, networking and learning opportunities.
We hold our staff to a higher standard.
All MVESC employees hold education degrees, licenses and certifications needed to function in each specialty area we provide. We require ongoing professional development for all MVESC staff, ensuring the center operations are current and best practice. Our leadership is highly involved with the professional and community organizations that support education in southeast Ohio at the local, state and national levels. Most importantly, each MVESC staff member has a passion for the well-being of children and for the advancement of best practices on individual, educational, community and systemic levels.
We have a history of transformative support.
Since 1914, we’ve been serving the educational staff, district administrators and service organizations who support the students and families within our region. We serve about 1,300 teachers and more than 11,300 students in 13 school districts. Within and beyond our seven counties, we have partnered with more than 105 educational service providers in 62 Ohio counties, 39 states and Canada.
By programming services for 13 school districts, the MVESC helps every school benefit from sound, professional programs, many not typically available to smaller school districts. MVESC resources for these school include:
All services lead to one goal: Creating opportunities for all children to access the services and supports they need to grow and lead healthy, productive lives.
Let’s work together to improve education.
