How TechCred Funding Works
- Identify skills that you want to provide to your employees.
- Locate a provider like Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center for the training skills/courses you would like to provide to your employees.
- Apply online. The process is easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. Step by step directions can be found below. In addition, feel free to contact MVESC to walk you through the process via zoom or google meet. Application windows for 2025 are below.

- May 1, 2025 – May 30, 2025
- July 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025

- Following the completion of the course, you will upload all the following items into your OHID account for proof that the credential was earned. For each employee trained you will need:
- A copy of the credential earned (certificate or certification)
- An itemized invoice which clearly identifies the cost of the credential.
- Proof of payment which may include either a cleared check, a credit card statement, or a bank statement. The document must identify the training provider, the amount paid, and the date paid and must clearly show that the payor is the TechCred Grantee.
- A copy of the TechCred Employment Verification form for each employee included in the request.
- State will issue reimbursement.
