MVESC Board Recognizes Staff, Student & Community Partner

ZANESVILLE, Ohio — The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC) Governing Board recognized Monday, November 15, 2021, nominees for the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) 2021 Region Recognition Program. It started in 1993 and became an annual way to help school districts recognize outstanding individuals and programs in 84 districts throughout 18 counties in southeast Ohio. MVESC nominees included:

  • Genesis HealthCare System — Outstanding Community Business Leader
  • Kate Brenner & TEMI robots — Outstanding New Program or Innovation
  • Kim Miller — Outstanding Classified Staff Member
  • Amy Luby — Outstanding Faculty Member
  • Mike Fuller — Outstanding Administrator
  • Joseph Maslo — Outstanding Male Student

Joseph Maslo from the MVESC Adult Success Program was recognized as the Outstanding Male Student for 2021 in the OSBA Southeast Region. Joseph received his award during the OSBA Southeast Region Fall Conference on September 30, 2021.
