Many of our teachers have varying amounts of knowledge built around SOR and Structured Literacy. Our Paraprofessionals is still one group of people that can have just as much impact on a student and their reading ability and may have had very little if any SOR training. They are invited to join Keith McCarroll of MVESC for a day of discussing some of the science behind teaching reading as well as some practical suggestions when assisting a classroom teacher in teaching reading.
