The IES Practice Guides have been published by The What Works Clearinghouse for years. They remain to be some of the most underutilized, yet teacher-friendly guides that are available. The latest title from this series is written just for teachers and interventionists at the secondary level. The day includes recommendations of 5 teaching strategies, step by step instructions on implementing them, and ideas to get around barriers that might arise during implementation. It is a very practical day that will allow teachers time to collaborate around each suggested practice.
