Background Checks

The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center offers BCI and FBI background checks using the National Webcheck System.

Background checks are available weekdays, by appointment only, from 9 a.m. — 3 p.m. at our Main Office and New Lexington Office.

What to bring:

1. Valid photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
2. Payment: cash, credit card or money order payable to Muskingum Valley ESC

• BCI (Ohio background check) = $35.00
• FBI (Federal background check) = $35.00
• Both BCI and FBI = $65.00 ($5 savings when done together)

• BCI Background Checks may only be processed for the reasons listed in the link below. Your employer or organization must provide you with the reason code for your BCI check. Due to regulations in effect, Muskingum Valley is unable to provide your reason code.
