Technology Coordinators

The Vision for Technology Coordinators' Professional Growth

This group will discuss and share local issues, barriers and potential solutions.  From the local expertise, a solution may be identified.  During the regional meeting, this will become a point of discussion to determine the degree of interest in presenting the identified solution.  Should interest indicate the need to make a presentation, the local expert will make a 30-minute presentation at a future regional meeting.  This will be a launching platform to develop awareness and better understanding of the issue and solution.  A more detailed explanation will follow at a two-hour presentation at the Salt Fork OMERESA technology conference.  If interest exists, a detailed follow up with hands-on learning will be offered at either the MVESC or the ECOESC at the end of the school year.  These professional development opportunities will be at low cost and geared directly at technology coordinators as the audience.  Our vision is to create a learning community of IT professionals within school districts served by ECOESC, OVESC, JCESC and MVESC.

MVESC Area Technology Coordinators Meetings occur on the second Monday of each month.  These meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude around 10 a.m.  These meetings are open to all Technology Coordinators whose districts are serviced by MVESC. SST Region 12 Technology Coordinators Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  These regional meetings connect all Technology Coordinators throughout Region 12 of Ohio through Interactive Video Distance Learning.
