ASL Workplace Seminars

Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center offers workplace seminars customized to the needs of businesses and organizations who want their employees to learn American Sign Language (ASL) to improve communication with their customers, clients and co-workers. Our qualified Deaf and Education consultants use a variety of resources to develop high quality materials and engaging training sessions that fit the needs of the organization. We conduct surveys prior to the training to ensure our professionals meet your unique staff needs.

What is American Sign Language (ASL)?

ASL is a complete, complex language that employs signs made by moving the hands combined with facial expressions and postures of the body. It is the primary language of many North Americans who are deaf and is one of several communication options used by people who are deaf or hard-of-hearing.
