Technology Department

The primary mission of the Technology Department is to support the work of MVESC employees by:

  • Ensuring network integrity
  • Ensuring server-based application integrity
  • Providing data security
  • Ensuring back up and restoration of data
  • Providing desktop level support for MVESC employees

The secondary mission of the Technology Department is to support educators who use MVESC services.  Many of these services are created by other departments located at MVESC.  Districts may purchase some technology-based services from MVESC at substantially discounted rates.  See Services and Products for a list.

When do Technology Coordinators meet?

MVESC Area Technology Coordinators meet monthly on the second Monday of each month at 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the MVESC. A virtual regional meeting for Technology Coordinators within State Support Team Region 12 takes place at 10 a.m. following the local meeting.
