MVESC Preschool Programs

Celebrating 27 years of Excellence in Preschool Education

The mission of the Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center (MVESC) preschool programs is to prepare children academically and socially for success in Kindergarten by meeting the individual needs of each child and his/her family.

Since 1989, MVESC has operated a collaborative preschool program built on a shared mission and strong partnership with school districts, Head Start, Help Me Grow and  County Boards of Developmental Disabilities.

Our Muskingum Valley Preschool serves more than 500 children ages 3 to 5 years old. Our programs provide instruction to children with disabilities and to children who are developing typically in inclusionary settings.

We offer a continuum of preschool service delivery models based on the needs of each child:

  1. Preschool Special Education classrooms
  2. Preschool Special Education Itinerant services
  3. Preschool classrooms
